Export and find your files again

Download one file or the ZIP archive, understand the anonymised names, find your renders in the History and free up storage.

Video coming soonA short video of this tutorial will be added here. Until then, the steps below are all you need.

Every tool ends with an Export step that works the same way: one button per file, one button for the full archive. The produced files are anonymised, then kept in your account's History until you delete them.

Before you start

  • A finished run in one of the five tools: the queue shows "Completed" or "Ready to download".
  • Room on your disk for the archive: its size is announced in the batch summary before launch.
  • To find a render later, the same Clipfer account, on any device.

Steps

  1. In the Export step, click Download under a file to get it on its own; your browser saves it to its downloads folder. In Clipping Omegle, each clip also has its own download button in the gallery.
  2. To get everything at once, click Download everything (ZIP) (in Clipping Omegle, Download the archive · N clips). The archive is built in the browser; a large batch may be split into several archives.
  3. Open the archive: the files carry neutral names, for example vid_a8f2k9.mp4. The original name never follows the export: it would tell the device and the order of the takes. The match with the source stays readable in the tool and in the archive's rapport.csv file.
  4. Know what was cleaned: source tags (device, GPS, software, title, author), chapters, extra tracks and the tool signature are removed; each file gets the actual date of its render, a new identifier and a new checksum. The size varies slightly from one file to the next; the picture itself is not altered.
  5. To find a render later, open History in the Studio sidebar. Every session is listed with its tool, date, settings and files; the tabs filter by tool, and the search field takes "Session, folder, source or exported file, author, id…".
  6. Click Open on a session: the page shows "Results · N/N", a Download button per file and Download ZIP for the whole set. The History follows your account: signed in on another device, you find the same sessions.
  7. From "More actions", you can Rename the session, Add to favorites, Duplicate in the tool to run it again with the same settings, or Retry failed files.
  8. To free up space, click Delete and choose what gets deleted: Free the space only erases the produced files but keeps the entry, the settings and the timeline; Move to the trash removes the session for a few days, restorable until then; Delete permanently erases everything right away. Your source files are never touched.

Expected result

Your files are on your disk, ready to publish under a neutral name, and stay downloadable from the History until you delete them. The storage of your plan (5 GB during the trial, then 50, 100 or 250 GB) is freed as soon as the produced files are erased; if a tool says "Storage full", this is where you make room.
