Frequently asked questions
Which files can I upload?
MP4, MOV, M4V or WebM videos, up to 12 GB per file. The Metadata Editor also accepts photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF) and ZIP archives.
Do I need to install anything?
No: Clipfer runs in the browser, preferably on a computer. During a render, keep the tab open; processing follows your page.
Does Clipfer pick the clips for me?
It suggests, you decide. Moments, cuts and captions stay editable before export.
Where do my files go?
Into your private space: only you can access it. For transcription, the audio is sent to Deepgram. For Clipping Omegle and Text Overlay, the transcript and a few frames are analysed by Claude (Anthropic) to suggest moments or write captions.
Do I need an account?
Yes, but sign-ups are not open yet. When they open, an email and a password will be enough, and 10 credits will be free to try; your files, settings and profile will stay attached to your account, invisible to others.
How do I get my files?
Every export downloads directly, one by one or as an archive. Your sessions stay listed in your projects.
How do I pay?
By card, via Stripe, as soon as sign-ups open: a plan (Creator, Pro or Agency), monthly or yearly, cancel anytime, or a pack of 100 credits that never expire. 10 credits will be free when you sign up, no card needed.
What happens to unused credits?
Plan credits do not roll over: every period, they reset to the number included in your plan. Pack credits and sign-up credits never expire.
